Do Guardian Features need to benefit Heavy Armor?

Guardian Class Discussion

I don't get it.

All Heavy Armor is +1 AC more effective than all Medium Armor. That's a huge bonus right off bat.

Do features need to give a bonus based on whether the user is using heavy vs medium armor?

I just don't get what this type of differentiated bonus is adding to the class experience.

+1 AC for heavy also comes with -5 speed.

I think Guardians personally should get 0 moment penalty for wearing Heavy Armor myself.

I could see that as a feat.

Also maybe a "Step 10' when you roll initiative" feat.

Movement, whoops but you know what I meant. Sometimes I don't check typos until it it is too late. It would greatly benefit them if was a feature or a feat, moving 30ft with Heavy armor and Fleet would be nice unless a Dwarf.
