How can I ask questions of Luis and the other Paizo people?

Just curious how you submit questions to them?
Also I'd like Luis to give a opinion. Who is more powerful: Azlin Rex (D&D Ravenloft) OR Tar-Baphon?

Some Paizo employees have "Ask Me" threads in the "Off-Topic Discussions" forum.

Not all employees (or freelancers, for that matter) are willing to deal with such questions. Nor do they check the threads on any regular basis.

If there is a thread, then you can post a question, but when it gets answered (or even if it gets answered) is unpredictable.

I've just seen people saying they talked to Luis and I was curious how they even did that. Also my opinion question was just something for fun. If someone get all upset about maybe they are in the wrong business.

Many of the devs present on Discord and Twitter/X and Reddit. There are a few who are activeish here.

It would be nice if there were a Paizo People section of the site that lists all Staff who opt-in and List the socials they are willing to Share.

James Jacobs has said for instance that he prefers not to be known online so his only Public accounts are here on the forums and reddit.

Jason Bulmahn on the flip side doesn't post much here but is active on Twitter and has a Gaming Twitch channel.

Developers are employees of a business or are self-employed in their own business. Their job is to produce entertainment products.

Expecting them to also spend their non-working time doing unpaid entertainment activities for customer amusement is unrealistic. Would you volunteer to do PR work for your employeers when you weren't on the clock?

Do you spend time with customers without being paid? Writiers, artists, and designers job descriptions don't usually include "spending time selling their employer's products by building up the customer base".

Some developers do get personal enjoyment out of those activities. And they do engage with the fan base on a regular basis. But that's their personal choice, not a job requirement. The ones who don't are not "in the wrong business" as long as they continue to produce engaging products that attract an audience.

Some of the staff do Q&A channels on the official Discord server around PaizoCon and Gen Con - whenever you see me talk about getting answers from devs, it happened there!

As others said, some of the staff have AMA threads on the forums. Others are active in various discords and reddits. Luis's AMA thread is here

I know, Luis seems cool and into what he does for a living and that is awesome. I hope he continues to find joy in his work.
