That Crazy Alchemist

There are a LOT of ways to get bonus feats in this game, whether its from classes, races, items, etc with most of them needing to be specific bonus feats or feats picked from a pool. Because of this it's best not to look at it like "humans get 2 feats" or "fighters get 2 feats", because that doesn't really tell the full story and can even get confusing if you try to look at it that way. In fact "everyone else just gets one" is reductive, and isn't even true.
Everyone gets 1 feat every odd character level. Full stop.
Everything else are "bonus feats" that are granted based on circumstance, usually from class levels and are usually restricted to certain selections.
Some examples:
- Humans get 1 bonus feat at 1st character level. They can choose any feat they want.
- Fighters get a bonus Combat feat (specifically a combat feat) at fighter level 1 and another one every even numbered fighter level you take.
- Monks get a bonus feat from a small pool of feats to select from at monk level 1, 2, 6, 10, 14, and 18.
- Sorcerers get a bonus feat based on their bloodline at sorcerer level 7, 13, and 19.
- Rogues can select a bonus Combat feat in place of one of the talents they get at even numbered levels, but can only do it once.
-etc
So yeah, bonus feats come from all different sources and at different rates, and different selections. There are several classes that get bonus feats at level 1, not just the fighter. So don't bog yourself down trying to keep track of all the combinations and the number of feats those combinations will have. You'll drive yourself crazy otherwise.
