Whose reach for Dimensional Assault?

Rules Discussion

Is it the creature’s or the magus’ reach that determines where dimensional assault can go? Is it one square where the magus can reach the creature? Or one square where the creature can reach the magus?

It would be within the caster's reach.

Since the Magus is doing the Attack Afterwards it's Safe to assume that it IS the magus' reach
Otherwise the Magus wouldn't get his Attack, would He? And in that case again Part of the spell would be wasted

Yeah, it is pretty clear that it is the caster's reach.

What is a bit strange is that you can actually use two different creatures for the spell's targets - the spell doesn't say that you have to attack the same creature that you teleport to.

It is very difficult to find a scenario where that would make a difference - but it is there.

Thank you, all. I read it creature’s first, but then thought it made more sense for it to be the Magus’. Wanted to check and see if there was a consensus/official interpretation before making a character and finding out in the middle of play.
