Will the damage from Elemental Overflow be increased by Metakinesis?

Rules Questions

Silver Crusade

As title.

Or, for example:there's a level 6 pyrokineticist who's con is +6(final).

He will deal a 3d6+3 damage without overflow and a 3d6+7 damage with overflow.

So he applies Metakinesis on it.

A. he deals a (3d6+3)*1.5+4 damage.

B. he deals a (3d6+7)*1.5 damage.

Which one is correct?

The same question for Point-Blank Shot too. I guess I had a vision of this question years ago but now I can't find it.

I don’t think there is an official answer regarding damage from sources outside the spell. Popular opinion in old threads suggests most people believe that you apply the 1.5 after all other damage is added.

This question is older than just kineticists. Additional spell damage options have been there since core.

Belafon is correct, it's total damage *1.5.

People get confused because of the "variable, numeric effects", but they then clarify at the end of the sentence. Making the case pretty cut and dry if you read the whole thing.

(I'm a lvl 6 kineticist too, so I was just looking at this yesterday)

The one that only boosts dice is Intensified.
