I've read it and has been looking around. Is this truly the future of Spellcasting for PF-2E? Spellcasting is now like martial weaponry!? That is so sick, so the Animist can multiclass and use their proficiency for any tradition of magic the only restriction now is what Key Ability Score the class uses? This is no problem for Sorcerers, Psychics and Bard. This also mean Witches, Wizard and Psychics can par up...Dude even Clerics, Druids and Animist now also.
Monks and Champions get higher Spell-casting now also! This is sooooooo cool, I am excited if this is true for the Remastered!

Yes, the universal spellcasting proficiency instead of dividing it by tradition was confirmed on discord as being a remaster feature.
I certainly didn't see that one coming, but it is definitely cool, even if it doesn't do that much as you still use the other class' stat. So realistically this doesn't expand your options too much.
Edit: It was confirmed on the forum as well.

I complained about it not so long ago (not long enough that I can claim any credit) that having the 4 different spellcasting proficiencies and innate spell casting proficiency really does cut out a lot of the offensive DC based options. This will make it a lot better when multiclassing as a caster. I'd like to see the actual rule in the remaster.

Monks and Champions already get a good spellcasting DC the main difference is that it will not restricted to divine anymore what allows a greater range of offensive spells options. Specially cantrips and focus spells.
But Champions for example always was good with offensive domains spell if you didn't dump you charisma and support spells that doesn't require checks don't get any problem at all.
The main difference is that now with the remaster you can take any offensive spell from any tradition and still use highest DC with a non-divine cantrip/focus spell without need to take 3 more feats spellcasting feats to improve your DC proficiency what will improve your MC build options.

Small nitpick on monks: "When you first gain a ki spell, decide whether your ki spells are divine spells or occult spells." (emphasis mine) PF2 monks have always had the choice between divine and occult. Granted, ki spells are based on Wis so if you use the multiclassed psychic archetype with Cha as your casting stat, ki spells might end up with a different spell attack/DC than the psychic cantrips/spells.

I disagree in that there are a great deal of classes using the same stat but different traditions. My oracle with the bard dedication is going to love this change. It significantly impacts the number of debuffs and attacks I can casteffectively.
