My DM and I came across Druid Herbalism, and we're having a bit of fun with it.
The character we're working with is a PC, Dwarf Druid 4th level focusing on incorporating magical healing shrooms into beers, ales, and potions. DM gave me a Dwarven Tankard with the following properties:
- Functions as a Masterwork Light Steel Shield
- Can store one potion or brew
- Provides +1 AC
- Is reinforced to work in combat (1d4 damage + strength)
- Is also a druidic focus (because funzies)
So, got me to thinking, how could I capitalize on this?
The immediate idea I have is Nature Fang Druid leaning into Weapon and Shield for Improved Shield Bash (1st feat), Power Attack (Feat at 3rd), and Two Weapon Fighting (Talent at 4th). However, I'm not a cleric, and can't benefit from Cayden Cailean for Two-Weapon Drunkard.
So, what other ways could Druid benefit from the power of Druidic Booze?
Edit: Stats are as follows (rolled):
Str 16
Dex 9
Con 18
Int 14
Wis 18
Cha 13

Minor nitpick, but druids must use wooden shields. So the tankard should work as masterwork light wooden shield.
Accelerated drinker trait lets you drink a potion as a move action.
At 10th level you could take Cayden Caileans Blade and Tankard divine fighting style to replace one attack with drinkin the potion in the tankard.
You don't need to be a cleric of Cayden Cailean to take Two Weapon drunkard. You only miss the divine focus and not interfering with somatic components part. And you GM already made the tankard to act as you divine focus. Thea feat does not really do much for you though.
