So I'm going to start playing a kingmaker 2E campaign, and I want to try playing a character I tried to play before in kingmaker 1E, But couldnt because the Game died.
The character is a half orc inquisitor of Erastil. Unfortunately, there are no inquisitor yet in 2E.
So I have been looking around, and the options for base class so far are thaumaturge, champion or Ranger. We are also using the free archetype rules, which means one of those classes would be the archetype, or use the archer archetype.
Any ideas? Suggestions? Opinions? I really need help
You could also run an investigator, depending on which aspect of "inquisitor" you were looking to replicate.
What does "inquisitor" mean to you? What were the things about this character that you thought were awesome, that you want to preserve?

Well, I liked the inquisitor for what he is, a atento of a church that has more freedom to try and hunt his church enemies or to protect people. A sort of sacred hunter.
For that feel, I would suggest Thaumaturge. Go with strongly religious theming on your implements and your esoterica. "Wieldign relics fo the faith against the monsters in tne darkness" is a flavor that Thaumaturge supports quite well. For your FA, I'd suggest Champion. It'll give you a really very helpful armor upgrade and access to both Weapon Ally and Champion's Reaction, both of which you should take. It will mean that you're bound by the various Champion's codes, though. If that's a problem you'll want to avoid Champion altogether.
