Flurry of Blow and two-handed weapons

Rules Discussion

Hi.
Is it possible to do all attacks of FoB with a monk's two-handed weapon (quarterstaff)? I can't find a clear answer on the forums.
Thanks.

As long as the monk has the Monastic Weaponry class feat, they can use Flurry of Blows with melee monk weapons.

By default, Flurry of Blows only allows monks to make two unarmed strikes. However, Monastic Weaponry allows monks to "use melee monk weapons with any of your monk feats or monk abilities that normally require unarmed attacks." Flurry of Blows is a monk ability, so if a monk has Monastic Weaponry, they can flurry with a Bo Staff or any other melee weapon with the monk trait, regardless of how many hands it takes to wield.

As Thaliak points out, Monastic Weaponry only allows you use Monk abilities like Flurry of Blows with melee weapons that have the monk trait. The Staff doesn't have that trait so it can't be used that way, but the Bo Staff does and can.

I believe that the current list of melee weapons with the monk trait is: Bo Staff, Butterfly Sword, Fighting Fan, Hook Sword, Kama, Katar, Knuckle Duster, Kusarigama, Monkey's Fist, Nunchaku, Pantograph Gauntlet, Sai, Temple Sword, Tonfa, Tri-Bladed Katar, and Wind and Fire Wheel.

To use Flurry of Blows with Shuriken, you also need to be in the Shooting Stars Stance.

(Note that the Ancestral Weaponry feat can allow you add the monk trait to certain other weapons like the Elven Curve Blade.)

Monastic Archer Stance adds bows too.

Oh yeah, I missed that option.
