So I was building a higher-level version of my kineticist and after taking the Kinetic Activation feat, I was considering which scrolls or wands to buy, when the question occurred to me - what are the spell DCs and spell attack values I would use?
The kineticist class does not seem to have proficiency with spell DC or spell attacks. I would think that the feat should have text similar to Trick Magic Item to cover this, and I would probably have a player use that feat's rules for spell attack roll and spell DC if I were a GM. For a home campaign, I might even allow using CON for the ability mod.
But as a player in PF society, since there's no rules in the feat, I should probably just stick with utility spells without DCs or attacks (such as Create Water, Mud Pit, and Obscuring Mist).

Rather than incantations and gestures, you can use your inner gate to directly unlock the potential of elementally empowered magic items. You can Activate magic items that require you to be able to Cast a Spell, provided you activate them to Cast a Spell with the same elemental nature as an element you can channel; for example, if you can channel fire, you could Activate a scroll of fireball.
It was not explained clearly but I think that once you are using your "your inner gate to directly unlock the potential of elementally empowered magic items" that you use your class DC as Spell DC and attacks.
