Clarification Request: Stone Shield + Shield Block

Does stone shield require taking shield block from a general feat or some other source before the reaction part of the impulse can be used?

It allows you to shield block in the same way that the shield spell does. You can shield block only with this ability.

The feat says you can use the shield block reaction, so I think that means you can use the shield block reaction.

Just with your stone shield though, not with any other shields.
