What is Elemental Blast's weapon group?

A question that came up in my play group when building a character using the multiclass variant for a fighter/kineticist. This then added the question "does it change to the weapon group of the weapon it becomes with Elemental Weapon"?

An excerpt from our chat...
The Elemental Weapon would be whatever group.... wait, hmm... Ok, it uses your unarmed proficiency, but they aren't part of that group
If you crit with the weapon version... I guess it still uses its own crit effect?
That part isn't explicit

The play test version is intentionally not a weapon or weapon group. The don’t Archetype stack very well with most martial abilities, clearly by intention. I had a similar experience wanting to MC into ranger and get ranger feats.

Hunt prey would at least help with your ranged attacks. That's pretty much it though.

Yeah the No attack penalty at range 240 was hilarious to me, at 40ft is much better for earth, and extra HP is ok, but it got rough beyond that
