Concentrate Impulse

In an effort to make the kineticist more focused on a single target and to deal more damage to a single target, I would to offer up this feat suggestion

Level 1
Concentrate Impulse: Free action

The kineticist can forego his usual radius of one of his impulses to concentrate on a single target. Add one additional dice to the damage of your impulse, but only one target is hit by your blast, as you focus all of the elemental energy toward that singular target.

Level+3
Add one additional dice to your impulse.

This will allow the kineticist to deal with bosses much more easier and won't just be the "mook class" where he just uses AOE all the time.

So instead of creating a cone or creating a column or a burst, it hits only one target.

So if I understand correctly this would turn a 10d10 area effect into a 17d10 single target? At 20th level.

Correct.

At 20th level, a wizard can do a 60 foot burst that deals 21d10 damage + additional damage against swimming and flying creatures. Of course, this is a 10th level spell slot.

I don't think 17d10 single target as a continuous activity is that much to ask for.

lol

The homebrew feats are always the best part of a playtest.

Compare this to Disintegrate at same level and then think about what you did, young man.
