Due how restricted are the Battle Forms there's little you can do to create good synergy with them. So I suggest to start to think with non-related to forms.
Take animal order via Order Explorer usually is one of the best options. A companion is something that allows you to good use your 3º-action while shapeshifted helping to flanking opponents, "improving your MAP" or giving you some support ability from companion (or thinking in optimized way, probably the best option here is start with animal order then take Order Explorer to take wild order at level 2 once you only get animal form at level 3). This 2-orders build probably will use all your feats along the way.

How much of your focus is on using Wild Morph in battle? The nice part about that spell instead of Wild Shape is that you can still cast spells. The downside is that the attack itself is melee only.
So you can be a reasonably good skirmisher. Especially with a good shield. While still being able to throw out spells - either for ranged attacks, area control, buffs on yourself or sometimes others, or healing.
I don't think there are all that many feats that you would need to get from Druid for this style of combat play. So that leaves things fairly open. You might consider some general feats to help with your survivability in melee (Toughness, for example) or even an archetype for the same purpose (Rogue or Swashbuckler to get Nimble Dodge is not bad - though its bonus doesn't stack with a shield. Good for when you don't have time to put your shield up.)
If you start as a different order and get Wild Order through Order Explorer, you will only get Wild Shape initially. Wild Morph can be picked up with Order Magic.
You can also start with Wild Order and Order Explorer into a different order, such as one of the elemental orders or Animal Order.
