Multitalented

Rules Discussion

Hello, I have a question about Multitalented feat.

For example, I have a human character with shadowdancer dedication feat at level 8.

If at level 9, the character obtains Multitalented feat : wizard dedication.

At level 10, which feat must the character at level 10 ? wizard multiclass or shadowdancer ?

Thanks for your future answer.

You are not obligated to take an archetype's feats after you take its Dedication. The answer is that the character can pick a Wizard Archetype feat, a Shadowdancer feat, or neither. (But they can't select another Dedication.)

You can choose from either. The restriction from dedications only applies to other dedication feats, not any archetype feats that you have access to and since you have both dedications, you can choose archetype feats from either.

The actual restriction to be concerned about is you can't take any other archetypes until you've gotten 2 more feats from each archetype. Barring something else allowing you to ignore that, like multitalented.

To be clear, you can also take a feat from your base class of level 10 or below, not only from the archetypes you have dedication feats for.
