Going along with VoodistMonk’s suggestions, Destroyer’s Blessing allows a half-Orc or Orc barbarian to regain rage and heal when sundering things.
Equally subtle, if you go with an Orc, is the Trap Wrecker feat, which allows them to just smash past a trap.
The entire Smashing Style feat chain is aimed at sundering armor (though Smashing Crush affects any sundered item), but mileage may vary beyond the first feat—which allows you to immediately attempt a bull rush or trip combat maneuver against that target with the same combat maneuver bonus... without provoking an attack of opportunity. That’s essentially a free feat.
The aptly named Smash allows you to ignore some hardness when sundering and gives you a healthy bonus to Strength-based checks.
Gate Breaker allows you to do extra damage to things you’re sundering.
Relic Breaker makes the person holding something you’re sundering catch on fire.
And of course there’s Sundering Strike, which allows you a free sunder when you confirm a critical.
Going with a completely different flavor, a Paladin with the Adept Champion feat gets a significant bonus to combat maneuvers (equal to 1/2 their character level).
The Smite Evil Magic feat allows you to sunder an evil creature’s spell effect, temporarily suppressing it or even dispelling it (with a good enough check). If aimed at one of the classic Paladin enemies (evil outsiders, evil dragons, or undead creatures), the Paladin also adds their Charisma bonus to their combat maneuver check.
Combined with Adept Champion and some of the feats posted above, you could have a holy warrior capable of wrecking a BBEG’s magical defenses, prized possessions, and perhaps even their chief means of damaging the party.
