Can a Divine Hunter replace one of their deity domains with a Terrain Domain
Other nature-themed classes with access to domains may select an animal or terrain domain in place of a regular domain.
I ask because I am trying to come up with a Divine Primal Companion Hunter + Mammoth Rider Dip who Pounces (With the Plains Domain) as part of a Ride By Attack

Nobody knows what that means. Ask your GM, expect table variation, YMMV.
Minigiant wants to stack the Divine Hunter and Primal Companion archetypes for the Hunter class.
Minigiant wants to choose the Plains Domain via Divine Hunter, which gives Pounce.
Ride-by-Attack allows one to charge, and move after the attack... assuming charge and Pounce interact the same... Minigiant apparently plans to Pounce then move with this formula.
The Mammoth Rider dip is most likely just for silly Enlarge Person 3/day shenanigans.
The question, I assume, is whether or not Pounce is compatible with Ride-by-Attack... since everything else works without question. The archetypes stack just fine. Mammoth Rider isn't impossible to dip into, although the prerequisites could be difficult to meet in certain campaigns or with certain GM's. Charge and Pounce are almost always used interchangably, but this brings into question if you can move between each attack as part of the Pounce. Probably not, but I can see where questions may pop up...

I'm sorry, I meant that no one knows what classes other than druid count as "nature themed" for taking the alternate terrain domains, there are many opinions, many of which agree, but no actual RAW definition.
Edit: apologies if my frustration over that bit of undefined wording came across as directed toward the OP, it most certainly was not intended.

The Animal and Terrain domains are listed under the druid section of ultimate magic and were intended for druids. It does have an exception for other classes to take them but does not give any details of who can. Since the hunter is a combination of druid and ranger, which are both nature themed classes it should not be a problem. If the hunter is not eligible to take them no other class but druid is going to qualify. But ultimately it is the GM’s call.

The question, I assume, is whether or not Pounce is compatible with Ride-by-Attack..
Visually I am very much against this, as I have always seen the pounce as the attack at the end of the charge.
RAW, at first sight, it seems to work.
If your mount moves more than 5 feet, you can only make a single melee attack. Essentially, you have to wait until the mount gets to your enemy before attacking, so you can’t make a full attack. Even at your mount’s full speed, you don’t take any penalty on melee attacks while mounted.
Minigiant wants to move both before and after. And get the pounce in the middle.
Pounce bypass the above rule and when a mount charges the rider charges too (see this FAQ).Again, every single piece seems to work with each other. I don't see a RAW reason why it wouldn't work.
On the other hand, it is a Frankenstein monster made of sticking together different pieces, and I fit it repulsive.
