Is there an official Discord server for PFS play? My daughter and I are looking for a game, and online play is our best option.

Are you looking for a friendly little discord server? I am going to suggest Cayden's Keg, which has a delightful subset of players and GMs and is small so you and your daughter can get to know folks and find a VO to get you into a game. If playng with a kid, I think that I would want to start on a small but active discord with a very welcoming little community, and Cayden's Keg fits the bill nicely.
The official discord on PFSchat.com is also good, but very large. I think with a kid I'd rather do a smaller community at first so that it is less overwhelming.

Hello new person
Roll20 is the most common virtual table top for online play. It has the fewest bells and whistle, but has the lowest learning curve for starting fast.
The character sheet for PFS2 is pretty intuitive, just fill it out as you would your character sheet.
