Ancient elf question

Rules Discussion

Can the ancient elf heritage be used for a multiclass archetype, or does it have to be used to multiclass into a whole character class like wizard or something.

I'm not sure what you are asking. Ancient Elf grants a multiclass dedication feat. That is it. You don't have to keep taking Wizard archetype feats. Just can't take another dedication feat until you take two additional wizard feats.

Example.

Elfo has the Ancient Elf Heritage. He is a Wizard that took the Fighter Dedication at level 1. He never takes another Fighter Archetype feat. He has class skills at every even level, all of them are from the Wizard list.

Elfina also has the Ancient Elf Heritage. She is a rogue that took the Druid Dedication at level 1. Now she wants to take the Assassin Dedication, but she will have to wait until level 8, because she has to take at least 2 Druid Archetype feats before taking another dedication feat.

Hey, Farien. Am I able to counterspell Create Thread?

I don't think that is actually a spell. It isn't one that I know, so I'm quite certain that you don't have it prepared. Besides, unless you retrained something while I wasn't looking you can't counterspell anything.

Well, no. I'm just thinking hypothetically. How about with Clever Counterspell from a Wizard multiclass?

That's a 12th level feat, so it isn't available from the archetype.

Hmm... That's unfortunate.
