Valet Familiar Command Question (Not independent related)

With Valet familiar, can I command the familiar to do something for 1 action that occurs immediately (Such as moving into my space, exiting sleeves of storage, or handing me an item it was already holding) and then use it's 2nd action with the Valet functionality to Interact to retrieve an item of light or negligible Bulk I am wearing and place it into one of my free hands?

I've tried searching for an answer but most questions regarding valet involve independent which isn't what I'm trying to get clarification on.

Sorry, not how it works.

When you use one action to command a familiar to use its valet ability, the familiar then uses both actions to deliver items.

There's some nice flexibility with those actions you can pull off, they just have to be both actions. Like you could have it bring you a potion, drink it and then have it bring you another one.

They don't have to be the same type of item either. I can hand you a potion as one item and your dagger to fight with as the other. Or other similar things like that.

As for the details about having a different number of actions. If the familiar has only one action, then it can only deliver one item. At that point you might as well just grab it yourself. If the familiar somehow has three actions that it can use freely, then it can use all three to deliver items, or use the third bonus action for anything else you have commanded it to do.

Do remember that all of the commands are given at the same time once per round in combat and that the Haste spell doesn't give actions that can be used freely. The third action from Haste couldn't be used to deliver items - or to interact with backpacks and the like.
