Eyes of the Streets ability

"Eyes of the Streets (Su) Once per day as a full-round action, you can summon a spirit rat, pigeon, or similar tiny creature to serve as your eyes on, above, and beneath the streets—this spirit serves as an arcane eye. At 10th level, you can summon multiple such spirits; this ability functions as prying eyes. At 15th level, this ability functions as greater prying eyes."

ok so two or three questions immediately come to mind. The first is duration limitations. The second is do your spirit buddies have physical forms? can they interact? arcane eye is intangible but prying eyes aren't. finally arcane eye has unlimited summoning range. does this ability similarly let me put it anywhere i can see?

i would say that once you get to 10th level you get a 2nd option on how to use your once per day ability ("..At 10th level, you can summon.."

the 1st option is an invisible eye rat\pigeon etc that you must concentrate to use (standard action usually), duration as the arcane eye spell. other specifics as well.

once you're at level 10 you can instead use the ability like prying eyes. this will bring "..semi-tangible, visible magical orb rats\pigeons etc..." and have duration and such as prying eyes. also won't need the same action to control as arcane eye (i believe you order them before sending and they follow).

the range as well depend on the version you use.

Looking at the Street Oracle powers list, the range of the power is probably limited to the urban environment the Oracle is in. Most of the abilities seem to be about communicating with the spirit or essence of a place and it helping them.

But that is just my opinion. The strict wording (this being the Rules forum) isn't there.

Also, while arcane eye has an unlimited range the sensor must appear in your line of sight. So it's doubtful you'd have it in another settlement, especially since it seems linked to 'the streets' (above and below) and probably not roads between towns or non-urban areas. So even though your spirit pigeon could fly it's still probably can't spy on outlying farms only the goings on of the streets below.
