Burst of Force (and similiar force effects) And Undead / Constructs.

Silver Crusade

Spells like Burst of Force, Enemy Throw, ETC. Are these spells truly ineffective vs undead/construct enemies?

Undead Traits state that they have "Immunity to any effect that requires a Fortitude save (unless the effect also works on objects or is harmless)."

Burst of Force has a fortitude save, so yes, they are immune.

Silver Crusade

So burst of force should be run as causing no disturbance to objects? (such as books, chairs, random small items laying around)

Yeah this is a case of the rules being general and missing a few specific points.

Burst of Force and Force Punch are examples of spells that should affect undead and constructs (and objects), but because the writers probably didn't know the rules well enough (there are a lot of rules) they didn't think to specify they work against those enemies.

It would be totally reasonable to allow these to work against objects - and thus Undead and Constructs - in fact it's probably RAI. But it's not RAW, so it would be a house-rule.
