Magus Spellstrike and ghost touch weapon?

Advice

So I am GMing a game and a player is using Spellstrike with a bow and a melee touch spell, which im fine with and i get the attack is based on the weapon.

Does the spell take on the property runes too though?

So if attacking a ghost does the spell damage count as ghost touch as well as the weapon damage counting as ghost touch?

Part of me thinks yes and another part no. As other property runes wouldn't apply to the spell.

Thanks in advance.

No. The spell does not get any additional effects from the spellstrike. The weapon runes would help with the attack roll as is normal for weapon strike rolls. But a striking rune would not increase the damage of the spell, a flaming rune wouldn't apply added fire damage to the spell damage - things like that.

The weapon damage does get the Magical trait - because Spellstrike says that it does.

I'll note that the Ghost Touch rune can't be put on a bow. It's melee only.
