Hey there folks I just wanted to get a quick opinion on a reading of the rules.
So the Unleash Focused Intent Class Feature Read :Benefit When you Cast a Spell from your spell slots while you have Unleashed Focused Intent, you gain a status bonus to
that spell’s damage equal to double the spell’s level as long as spell deals damage and doesn’t have a duration."
So for Magic Missile specifically casting it for 3 actions at 2nd would the bonus damage apple to each individual missile cast, so 2d4+2+8; 2d4+2+8; 2d4+2+8?
Or would for Magic Missile specifically casting it for 3 actions at 2nd would the bonus damage apple to each individual action used, so 2d4+2+4; 2d4+2+4; 2d4+2+4?
Or would for Magic Missile specifically casting it for 3 actions at 2nd would the bonus damage apple just over all and be spit up among the missiles, so (2d4+2;2d4+2;2d4+2)+4?
Thanks for any insight?

The spell gets the bonus, not the individual missiles nor the individual actions, so the bonus is added to the total once, not multiple times.
In similar instances (that I can't cite offhand, sorry) the caster adds the damage to the missile of their choice if targeting multiple opponents.
I might allow the caster to spread the damage instead if desired since there's no language detailing how yet.
Or one can use the "too good to be true" rule of thumb (which is part of RAW albeit not rigorously delineated) to say, "Yeah...nope, too good."

Magic missile damage is combined before bonuses
If you hit someone 3 times, it will do 6d4+6+8
If you hit 3 different people it will do 2d4+2+8 to all 3 of them.
Re: your example of three people, there's only one +8 bonus to add, not three. It's not like an AoE w/ one damage sum, that's three separate chunks of damage.

...except that if you have a damaging, slot-costing area effect spell it will absolutely give that bonus damage to everyone it hits, which kind of undermines the "nope, too good" argument. Also, I believe that the "similar instances" all make the "you only get this damage bonus once" explicit in the text. This does not.
