Reincarnate Ritual: failure and repeat

If a PC or NPC perform a Reincarnate ritual and fails (not critically fails)... is possible to repeat one more time? (matching again the requisites and cost) or it's a only-1-opportunity ritual?

How attached to this character is the player? How necessary to the plot of the campaign is it?

The only limit I see is

which gets improved depends the level

So, since you said the ritual failed but not critically failed, if the time is respected ( which is easy to achieve, because of the Gentle Repose spell ), I say that you can try over and over.

You may try over and over as long as you don't crit fail, but it gets really expensive as the diamonds are consumed every time you cast the ritual.

I think the real question is how many attempts is emotionally healthy before you reach the point where you should just move on and start the mourning process.
