Wind Blast cloud subdomain ability vs. Cloud Golem.

How would you handle the wind blast ability from the cloud subdomain (referenced below) in how it affects a cloud golem? Would it work like how a gust of wind spell does against a cloud golem?

Cloud Golem stuff:
• A control winds spell destabilizes a cloud golem’s body and dazes it for 1 round.
• A magical effect that deals electricity damage affects the cloud golem as per haste for 1d6 rounds and ends any slow effect on it.
A gust of wind or wind wall spell affects the cloud golem as per slow for 1d6 rounds and breaks any haste effect on it.
• An alter winds spell deals 2d6 points of damage to a cloud golem.

Wind Blast (Su):
As a standard action, you can unleash a blast of air in a 30-foot line. Make a combat maneuver check against each creature in the line, using your caster level as your base attack bonus and your Wisdom modifier in place of your Strength modifier. Treat the results as a bull rush attempt. You can use this ability a number of times per day equal to 3 + your Wisdom modifier.

---------------------------------

Gust of Wind
Casting Time: 1 standard action
Components: V, S
Range: 60 ft.
Effect: line-shaped gust of severe wind emanating out from you to the extreme of the range
Duration: 1 round
Saving Throw: Fortitude negates
Spell Resistance: yes
Mythic: Has Mythic version
Source: Core Rulebook
Summary: Blast of wind blows away or knocks down creatures.
This spell creates a severe blast of air (approximately 50 mph) that originates from you, affecting all creatures in its path. All flying creatures in this area take a –4 penalty on Fly skill checks. Tiny or smaller flying creatures must make a DC 25 Fly skill check or be blown back 2d6 × 10 feet and take 2d6 points of damage. Small or smaller flying creatures must make a DC 20 Fly skill check to move against the force of the wind.

A Tiny or smaller creature on the ground is knocked down and rolled 1d4 × 10 feet, taking 1d4 points of nonlethal damage per 10 feet.

Small creatures are knocked prone by the force of the wind.

Medium or smaller creatures are unable to move forward against the force of the wind unless they succeed at a DC 15 Strength check.

Large or larger creatures may move normally within a gust of wind effect.

This spell can't move a creature beyond the limit of its range.

Any creature, regardless of size, takes a –4 penalty on ranged attacks and Perception checks in the area of a gust of wind.

The force of the gust automatically extinguishes candles, torches, and similar unprotected flames. It causes protected flames, such as those in lanterns, to dance wildly and has a 50% chance to extinguish those lights.

In addition to the effects noted, a gust of wind can do anything that a sudden blast of wind would be expected to do. It can create a stinging spray of sand or dust, fan a large fire, overturn delicate awnings or hangings, heel over a small boat, and blow gases or vapors to the edge of its range.

I'm going to assume you're talking about the Cloud Golem entries from the Raid on the Cloudborne Keep book, and also assume that you mean Wind Blast from the Air Domain -- Wind Subdomain (not Cloud Subdomain).

Per that book, they're specifically referencing the Spells Gust of Wind and Wind Wall. So RAW, the Wind Blast (Su) ability from the Wind Subdomain is not part of this, so it would not affect them like the spell Gust of Wind insofar as "slow for 1d6 rounds and breaks any haste effect on it".

If you did allow this Su ability to affect them like the spell, it would be GM discretion, but tbf, you would be wrong to do so on a strictly RAW basis.

Thank you! I'm the player of a PC using the wind subdomain ability of wind blast.
GM ruled it same way. The Wind Blast does exactly what it says; bull rush attempt.

It is a PFS game, btw.

Thank you for clarifying it further for me.
