Some Wild druids multiclass to Barbarian to get the Rage damage bonus in Wildshape. That's basically the same.
I hope not, that's a poor investment!
Also, in the polymorph questions thread, there's an unsettled debate over whether "additional damage" (i.e. Rage) counts as "adjusting" one of the given stats from polymorph. Unsettled enough that one should double-check with their GM before assuming they'll accept it.

Yes you should check. The assumption should be it stacks because it is additional damage (not a damage bonus and Mark says they are different)
But no it is not 100% conclusive and can't be settled till Paizo clarify it - and they may choose to change it when they do.
However don't be under the illusion that it is close issue because its not. The indication that is adds is strong.

Yeah, I think Mark's say so should've closed the issue, but since the wording focuses on "adjustment" (undefined) rather than "bonus"/"no bonus" (neither mentioned in battle forms), it's unsettled.
I prefer being on Mark's side, even if it's unofficial, he's still Paizo. This also implies Weapon Specialization should add too, meaning battle forms aren't that bad for martials (not that they're great).
