I’m less up to snuff on my Golarion lore than I’d prefer to be, and I’m curious what might be looming out there for home campaigns and future Adventure Paths.

Well discounting Tar-Babhon (for obvious reasons of being really obvious threat everyone knows about), Baba Yaga(since her multiplanar empire is really uninterested in Golarion overall), various evil and fiendish gods and demigods(since they are kind of background threat unless they have project ongoing on Golarion), various evil nations such as Cheliax and Chu Ye, King Of Biting Ants(which is unclear of whether he is dead or not, but Strength of Thousands might finally answer that as it contains the Doorway) and Galt related things we might get answer on in upcoming module(such as "Is Galt's situation supernatural or not?"), there are actually quite a lot still left yeah.

Nex might be making return which is making Geb active again, there is still veiled master conspiracy going on, considering that Doomsday Clocks turned out to be more Aucturn than Dominion of the Black related means Dominion of the Black is still presumably preparing for invasion of Golarion, and this is not going into things going on in other continents. Basically its easier to answer if you have specific country or continent you want to ask about.

(one of my favorites is what Seal-Breakers are up to at end of 1e, looking forward to them making comeback in 2e ;D)

On mysteries we still don't have publicized canon answers, cause of Aroden's death, what Zon-Kuthon discovered outside the multiverse, anything Sivanah related, Norgorber's identity, and again still lot of them because they tend to introduce new ones x'D

There's the disappearance of Choral the Conquerer's ruling family from Brevoy and all the political unrest from that.

There's still a vampire group secretly ruling Ustalav.

There's a wizard who lives on the sun. What is up with that?

The Sarenite/Cult of the Dawnflower religious schism.

Galt.

I want more Arazni content. I actually want some Iomedae/Arazni 'trying to work this out because we're both survivors of an abusive idiot named Aroden' content, but that's a niche product if there ever was one.

The Sarenite cult has largely been resolved "off-screen" so that we can move forward with Sarenrae being a good goddess and not a warmonger one.

But yeah, there's a lot more out there lurking in the woodwork, ready to cause problems. I've got a new one coming in "Malevolence" that introduces a new looming threat and builds on one I established in a previous adventure, but I'm staying coy there for spoiler reasons.

As for home campaigns, I'll let other folks make their nominations since it's tough for me to call things out without making it look like Paizo has specific plans for that thing...

Yeah that is honestly probably for the best since it does bring up conspiracy theories :D

Anyway, basically every nation has at least some mystery to them. Like besides Rogarvia disappearing, there is actually lot of smaller weird things going in Brevoy unrelated to "So was Choral a dragon or not?"

Druma for example has question of "So how did High Prophet Kelldor knew that Whispering Tyrant would return few years in advance?" (sidenote: Druma book did answer on what is up with Kalistocrat religion)

Irrisen does have dealio with "So what does Baba Yaga need eternal winter for?"(I forgot if reign of winter explained it but I don't think it did despite having continue the campaign section that allows ending it?)

Well, that's good to know. I would have liked to have the Reformation/Team Cleric AP though.

A team cleric AP can still happen, and indeed it's even more interesting to me now that it could focus on a group of Sarenrae worshipers doing proactive, good Sarenrae plots rather than mopping up fraught story elements that crept into the lore through an open back door that was flapping in the wind in an era before we had a creative director. ;-)

(It's always really bothered me that a female deity I invented decades ago who was inspired in some elements by real-world mythology ended up being re-cast to a certain extent as a warmonger. Particularly in this current world we live in. Very disappointing.)

... what an evocative description. <3

I do hope we see Sarkoris sooner, rather than later; there's been a surprising number of teases for it in 2e so far, and the broad shape of that plotline (fantasy indigenous people reclaiming their ruined homeland) could be super inspiring.

Could toss in some Wrath of the Righteous nods, as the videogame is coming up.

It will naturally have Wrath of the Righteous nods in sense of Sarkoris Scar as region being result of Wrath though.

But I do see what you mean, it would make pretty natural tie in to have either ap or module around same time as CRPG comes out or few months after it. Well okay, probably not ap in this case since we already know next ap for next six months but one after that could be potential one

Currently they seem to be droping hints here and there about what I'm guessing is pathfinders 2e 'Thanos' The Ashen man

We are certainly due for some more stuff with Geb, Nex, and (maybe) the Mana Wastes. There is also Ravounel and it's recent secession from Cheliax. There is also an "enemy mine" situation with the Orcs also being pitted against the Whispering Tyrant, possibly leading to some interesting development with foreign relations there.

My number one thing is the Pit of Gormuz, though. It might have to wait until we have epic/mythic rules, though. There is a Spawn of Rovagug chilling there.

Yeah the Pit of Gormuz is, I would say, the big one. Might be big enough to actually get me to play 2e.
