I was considering going fruit Leshy for our upcoming all-Leshy party campaign, but just realized their whole gimmick might not even work in this scenario. Leshies probably can't derive sustenance from fruit, so they'd be unable to heal from it, right?
Your body continually produces small fruits imbued with primal magic. At dawn each day, a new fruit ripens. You or an ally can remove this fruit as an Interact action. If a living creature that can derive sustenance from fruit consumes it as an Interact action within the next hour, they regain 1d8 Hit Points, plus an additional 1d8 Hit Points for every 2 of your levels beyond 1st. This effect has the healing, necromancy, and positive traits.

I'd probably allow it if I was running the game, but as a Rules question, I think the concern is actually legitimate. The RAW does not say "living creatures can get healing from the fruit" it says "If a living creature that can derive sustenance from fruit consumes it as an Interact action within the next hour, they regain 1d8 Hit Points"
How leshies derive nourishment does have rules:
PLANT NOURISHMENT
You gain nourishment in the same way that the plants or fungi that match your body type normally do, through some combination of photosynthesis, absorbing minerals with your roots, or scavenging decaying matter. You typically do not need to pay for food. If you normally rely on photosynthesis and go without sunlight for 1 week, you begin to starve. You can derive nourishment from specially formulated bottles of sunlight instead of natural sunlight, but these bottles cost 10 times as much as standard rations (or 40 sp).
So the real question is whether you, based on the type of plant you are, can sink your roots into the fruit or, for this party only, use older fruit that has decayed enough to be usable via roots instead of via digestive system. And that is very deep in "talk to your GM, because the rules don't allow for it, but a reasonable game might" territory.

That sounds about right, and our GM is probably gonna be fine with it if I bring it up just because it's an all-Leshy party. Under most circumstances, the primary concern would be if you, as a Leshy, could consume your own fruit for healing.
I haven't read Plant Nourishment in a while and always assumed it made Leshies exclusively gain nourishment through the means listed. But I wonder if there could be an argument that its more of an additional means of gaining nourishment? The lack of sunlight is clearly non-negotiable but I wonder if Leshies can actually eat regular food for some nourishment in weird corner cases? Probably a stretch but hadn't thought about it until now.

Leshies do have a mouth - I mean they do talk after all.
I would expect it could take water and maybe some food this way.
There are plants like Venus fly trap, and Pitcher plants that arguably have a stomach equivalent digestive region and could consume a small object very slowly. Even while at the same time roots are the main way they absorb nutrients.
Presumably Leshies have similar systems.
There is no rule to say they can't consume potions.
Best not to think too hard about it.
