Returned Background

Hi there :)
I have a question regarding the Additional Lore feat for Boneyard Lore.
How can you get this feat when it´s prerequisite is trained in Lore?

The background grants the feat without needing to meet the prerequisites.

Thx, but what I don´t understand is why doesn´t the Background just grant "trained" in Boneyard Lore?

edit : I think I get it. The feat grants also a skill increase at 3rd, 7th and 15th level :)

"Choose an additional Lore skill subcategory. You become trained in it. At 3rd, 7th, and 15th levels, you gain an additional skill increase you can apply only to the chosen Lore subcategory."

As you can see, it does MORE than just giving the lore but it gives you the increases to raise it's proficiency. In essence, additional lore is your skill feat and the skill + lore you would normally get for a background got traded for the die hard general feat.
