I would say no. Resurrection plan from the Legacy Faction Boons is a service that can be purchased to deal with "negative effect" at the end of adventure. In this case, being dead. Since you are not dead, you can't purchase the service.
A better use of those Fame points is a Hireling. Assuming you have about 30 reputation in all factions, you would be tier 2. This would allow you purchase a Hireling for 4 fame and an Expert Hireling for 6 fame. Given your fame total you can get two Expert Hirelings.
Additionally, I don't see any problems upgrading those hirelings with the ACP versions of Professional and Master Hireling boons when your able to purchase one because of your overall reputation with a faction.

Reputation and Fame are different. The latter is/was a social currency you used to purchase Boons, whereas the former only ever increased, and unlocked new Tiers of Boons. So hopefully you were keeping track of them separately.
Some people use a spreadsheet to track their Reputation now, since there is no longer a place on the Chronicle to do it. Or, assuming every adventure has been reported perfectly, your Paizo profile should show you the correct amounts (although currently there are several glitches).
Yes, you can only "slot" one Hireling, although currently the interpretation is that you don't need to choose which Hireling you're using until you use it (an interpretation I don't see making its way into the final version).

There is a place on the chronicle to track reputation with factions. Its several near full-width lines in the middle of the chronicle. I know a lot of GMs have been overlooking it, and I won't say its in a useful format/place for it. But there is a place for it.

Up until Season 2, each scenario awarded 0, 2, or 4 reputation and fame depending on your degree of success. Some also awarded an additional 2 reputation with a specific faction (but no extra fame).

The only difference in there is no more fame.

Normal reputation earned for a standard 4/5 hour adventure has the chance to award 4 reputation, 2 for the primary success condition and 2 for the secondary success condition. There are factors that can come into play that effect how much the party earns in reputation.
Some adventure may award bonus reputation for a specific faction. These adventure will have a "tag" that states if they award bonus faction and what faction they award bonus for.
Edit: dang, ninjaed twice by Jared!

Ok, but until the start of Season 2 each scenario awarded, say, 4 Reputation and 4 Fame (with some exceptions of bonus reputation). Right?
But any scenarios played from August 1, 2020 awarded 0 Fame and how much Reputation? Should it still have been 4? Or some other number?
That's what I was trying to clarify. Fame and Reputation are not linked. So however much Reputation you earned on your Chronicles remains unchanged.
It's just Fame that is going away.
