Temperatures and resistances / immunities

Rules Discussion

Here's the Temperature rules:
https://2e.aonprd.com/Rules.aspx?ID=642

How do the 2 features interact with each other?

For example, a wintertouched human will gain cold resistance equal to half its level ( or 5 + half its level by lvl 13 with the appropriate ancestry feat ).

Apart from Incredible Heat or Incredible cold, what you might suffer from is a minor environmental damage ( 1d6-2d6 )

Assuming that the maximum possible outcome is 12, a creature with 12 resistance wouldn't be suffering from any damage in that environment, which leaves me just 1 doubt: What about the fatigue stuff?

Not being able to suffer any cold/heat damage would mean that you are at ease in that environment, wouldn't it right?

Liberty's Edge

Creatures are still impacted by the environment so still need to make saves against it. This could result in certain conditions being applied.

Damage is separate so a character would not take damage.
