Baba Yaga boon

So how does one obtain a boon that allows me to play a Baba Yaga Witch?

Sczarni 5/5 5/55/5 ***

I've hardly seen any Rare options granted by Boons. Maaaybe... 2?

My guess is that it gets tied to an AP, or a charity auction Boon.

Or, maybe the "string bikini Familiar" thread killed any chance of it ever happening.

A string bikini familiar? I need to find that thread. I'm sure fireworks abound.

What two are you thinking of? I can think of 3 with one of them Im certain you are completely unaware of.

The way I stretched out "maybe" was intended to emphasize that there aren't many ^_^

I tried looking for that thread, Roy, and I couldn't find it. It was probably deleted.

Wait.

I leave the forums for a week and I miss a thread on string bikini familiars?

Not fair.

Was this a character whose familiar wore a string bikini? Or a familiar that *was* a string bikini?

I have found it generally unwise to assume there is anything of which Nefreet is unaware.

There's a community taboo against revealing spoilers for boons as it often spoils the plot of various scenarios for everyone. I will confirm that a boon which allows you to choose Baba Yaga is in PFS, and is readily accessible to all players and does not require a charity auction boon.

I believe it pre-dated that, with the idea being that a familiar being a 'supply of daily spells' that can be a generalized flavorful lump of 'whatever you want it to be'.

As a result, casters who did not want to endanger their spell supply and keep it close at hand would have a string bikini familiar?

IIRC it was in the Rules Forum, and several months ago, but searching over there for "bikini" and "thong" brings up nothing.

I remember it getting pretty... explicit.

These days it's honestly hit or miss ^_^

You missed the joke. :D Think about it carefully because I didn't assume.

Well done.

OP, Yes there is a scenario boon with exactly what you are looking for. I won't reveal which as to not spoil, but it is there.

Best to PLAY the adventure because as of right now, GMs can't purchase scenario boons.

This seems like the kind of thing where the boon should open the option up to a different character than played the scenario, since choosing a Patron is something only one class does, and that it does at character creation. It's probably too much to hope that's the case.

Wish I could help but if it is the adventure I think it is, I can't look at the boon because I was the GM and the system does not allow (yet) GMs to purchase boons for adventures they run.

My suggestion to play the adventure is so the boon can be purchased. Considering the level of the adventure in question, it would have to be one of the "unlock for all your characters" type boons.

The boon indeed does allow it to be applied to a character other than the one who played it. It seems to be a trend that character options in terms of feats, patrons, etc are either opened up for all characters (see Fire Embers stance) or for only one character who doesn't have to be the character who unlocked the option. Items and spells are the exception to this, and without Bequethal options after the 31st (and really only for people who played a lot last year) there's no way to pass those on to other characters.

Nice. That’s good news.
