Drugs as Poisons

so there are a bunch of parallels drawn between drugs and poisons so what i'd like to know is would the Drows Poison Use trait apply when making drugs

RAW no. Drugs are their own thing.

But, you can always ask your GM if you can swap Poison Use for Drug Use if your character has an affinity towards creating or working with Drugs rather than applying poisons.
