I like this concept quite a bit... it's like a Bloodrager with better saves and better spellcasting... and the Magus Arcana and Bonus Feats offset the VMC. All is good in the neighborhood.
Now, what Bloodline to pick? They have to match, so it is down to Bloodlines that appear on both the Bloodrager and the Sorcerer lists.
You only get the Bloodrager Bloodline Powers on/off when you pay for them. But the Sorcerer Bloodline Powers are constant. You don't get any Bloodline Arcana, so this is all about the Powers.
I had it drawn up with Aberrant/Aberrant, which was good. Neat reach and resistances, not bad, but meh. Right meow I have it put together with Arcane/Arcane because one of the Sorcerer Bloodline Powers grants extra spells, and the Eldritch Scion archetype picks up the Bloodrager Bloodline spells... so it was kind of cool getting a Familiar and a total of 7 extra spells (before Greater Spell Access gives 14 more).
I'm thinking Half-Orc for the FCB to fire damage...

Should probably switch Cold Ice Strike to VMC New Arcana to get it at level 17, instead of 19... swift action is legit... want that as soon as poosible.
Elf would be smarter than Half-Orc, probably. Racial +2 to overcome SR, and 3 more Magus Arcana as a FCB... extra Magus Arcana would further offset the VMC. And plus, screw extra fire damage. Focusing too much on damage is foolish.
Desna's Shooting Star sets this up for success from the start. She also offers some fun summoning options, so why not grab those spells, too? Grabbed a few of her other spells like Dream and Wandering Star Motes because I could... literally, why not?
Getting Heavy Armor eventually, along with Desna's Shooting Star, means we can jack up that Charisma quite a bit and not feel bad about it. Could get a +2 Dex from Elf to help the point buy. The +2 Int is whatever... skills are definitely nice to have. That -2 Con sucks, but Magus has a good Fort save... at least there's that.
There's actually still an open feat slot at level 5, as well as the bonus feat from Magus. So 5,9,13,17 are open for important things. And 5,11,17 are available for combat-related nonsense... level 5 obviously going to Combat Reflexes. Still have 9 Magus Arcana to pick with the FCB from Elf.
What do you think? Is that Elven Magic +2 to overcome SR as important as I think it is?

Beating SR is nice, but +2 Dex +2 Int -2 Con on a Cha-based melee character is kind of painful. Spell penetration is just one feat and you'll likely find a half-elf better; they can take elf options for FCB and can get +2 Cha & no Con penalty.
Shapechanger/shapechanger could be fun, but I can't argue with arcane/arcane for power.

Shapechanger was something I skipped over since the whole concept really isn't my thing.
Not really into summoning, either, but the abundance of extra spells combined with Desna's unique summoning options made it a pretty obvious choice. Desna offers the Pseudodragon as a summon, as well... might even burn a feat on Improved Familiar to have a Pseudodragon of my own.
Half-Elf is probably a better choice. Halfling gets 1/6 Arcana FCB, too. Fits with the whole Desna thing. Just wasn't really envisioning this character Small. Although a Helpful Halfling has a use for Combat Expertise... it is a prerequisite for Swift Aid. Combat Expertise is also a prerequisite for Butterfly Sting (another thing of Desna's)... and my Pseudodragon familiar could deliver a guaranteed critical touch spell, right? Too bad the Starknife isn't really much for crit-finishing.
Helpful Halflings like the Battlefield Disciple trait, adding a +5 to attack (+2 as a swift action with that trait and Swift Aid)... probably worse ways to spend an action. I really like the Bladed Magic trait, too. Not that too many combats last more than a minute, but it's nice to not even have to worry about it.
Overall, though, is this a pretty good match up? Regardless of the character's race, are the archetype/VMC and the combination of Bloodlines decent?

Arcane/arcane is a solid combo. I think you'll have enough feats (if you don't dabble into combat expertise stuff) so the VMC cost is acceptable: note that you'll want spontaneous metafocus and a metamagic feat some time to make use of metamagic adept. Eldritch scion is an archetype I don't like due to being cha-based with 2 base skill points, but how much of a pain that is depends on the game.
Another reason to go half-elf is paragon surge of course. You don't have to abuse/overuse it, it's just a nice trick to have.
