Does the prankster familiar archetype stack with improved familiar?

Yes. Improved Familiar works with every familiar archetype that does not replace Speak with Animals of Its Kind.

Considering that the only feature that Improved Familiars lose is Speak with Animals of its Kind... there are actually quite a few archetypes that are compatible with Improved Familiars.... Ambassador, Emissary, Occult Messenger, Prankster, Sage, & School Familiar
