Now we know True Strike works with combat maneuvers but can Destined Strike

At 1st level, as a free action up to three times per day you can grant yourself an insight bonus equal to 1/2 your bloodrager level (minimum 1) on one melee attack. At 12th level, you can use this ability up to five times per day.

I ask because my Bloodrager will soon be able to Beast Shape into a Mngwa and I am confused as to the interaction with Destined strike and the 'Grab' ability from the Mngwas Bite and Claw attacks

Can I use Destined Strike to increase my chances of grabbing my opponent?

Destined strike could work with combat maneuvers without problems. The issue is whether you could spend a free action after the attack roll but before the grapple check that grab allows.

If a creature with this special attack hits with the indicated attack (usually a claw or bite attack), it deals normal damage and attempts to start a grapple as a free action without provoking an attack of opportunity.

I think yes, but I'm not certain.

I dunno how you'd turn into a large magical beast as a bloodrager though, or how you'd keep a piece of a creature which fades away when killed.Eschew materials, duh.

I'm Crossblooded - Destined & Arcane. I get Beast Shape IV at level 16 from the Arcane Bloodline
