What would you say is the more synergistic Bloodline combo? Fey / Starsoul or Maestro / Starsoul?

Advice

Silver Crusade

I'm basically working on a character where the idea is that they gain their power through a pact with a fey or an azata. So which one works better?

The Fey bloodline is a steaming pile of troll cr... so yeah, if those are your only options, take Maestro over Fey. There are just 2 things you'd want from Fey anyway - the Arcana boost to DC and the 15th level power to reroll SR checks - and that's not enough to take it.

Though if you're interested in 3rd-party options, the Faerie Dragon bloodline might be an alternative.

Actually getting huge DCs is a reasonable goal for a sorcerer, and fey obviously works there. Especially for a kitsune.

If you're going crossblooded (which I don't especially advise) then a good bloodline arcana (preferably one synergistic with the other side) and good bloodline powers at compatible levels is what you want. Neither of those combos work well, but maestro/starsoul possibly has more synergy than fey/starsoul. Are you open to other suggestions?

If you have any ideas on what could make a good combination i'm all ears provided the origin isn't overly sinister and personally crossblooded is the only reason i even bother looking at the sorcerer at all as most of the bloodlines suck on their own save arcane and sylvan

Sylvan should definitely be an option for a pact involving fey. Probably not compatible with crossblooded, but like I said I don't advise that.

Or perhaps the unicorn bloodline - their bloodline arcana should be useful and different, and unicorns could be associated with either fey or azatas. Trade out the bloodline powers for bloodline mutations and/or an archetype which uses them. The tattooed sorcerer archetype doesn't suck.

If you're set on crossblooded then perhaps the fey bloodline and some other bloodline which adds to a save DC (stormborn adds to electiricty and sonic for example), then add 'compulsion' back on to the list of descriptors via a metamagic like authoritative spell or blissful spell.

Not bad, I definitely like blissful spell, However i've already made a unicorn/celestial sorcerer with a focus on conjuration and summoning(Came out pretty well i might add), also stormborn? Not questioning you but that seems like a rather unusual choice for a fey based character. Oh and I checked around and turns out wildblooded does work with crossblooded.

There are fey and fey-adjacent creatures of all environments, and those with druid spells tend to have call lightning. If you don't like that there's the boreal bloodline or aquatic - there are loads of winter fey and aquatic fey, and either arcana can buff your spells.

If you were to combine sylvan and crossblooded you'd be looking for better buffs rather than trying to max save DC. Destined perhaps, or shapechanger - fey may produce prophecies and can be shapeshifters.

Well i was thinking more along the lines of your standard forest dwelling fey, so...verdant? Maybe?

Verdant + sylvan isn't impossible. You hang on to the back of something lethal while casting buffs on it that incidentally increase your AC. I can't see the point of verdant + fey crossblooded by mechanics though.
