Can some help convert over 3.5's force missle mage

Advice

I know what I want to do. Be a missle mage. Starting with Wizard.
Can someone help me convert over the force missle mage from 3.5 as either a prestige class or better yet an archetype?

I don't really understand how the whole conversion thing works

Please and thank you

You don't 'need' to convert, just specialize a bit and maybe temper your expectations. I ran some PFS games with a Missile Mage who would cast up to 11(*ish) missiles a round.

Un-archetyped Wizard, though you could probably fit in Bonded Wizard for better force stuff, but it will delay metamagic access.
Arcane Bond item, though I don't remember what the base item was as it was mostly there to get non-memorized utility cast.
Evocation School of course for Force Missile and Intense Spells.
Magical Lineage and Wayang Spellhunter(Metamagic Master on d20) to reduce metamagic costs by 2.

You actually don't memorize Magic Missile after you take Preferred Spell. This allows you to spontaneously cast 1 spell (and you pick Magic Missile) and apply metamagics to it without increasing the cast time by sacrificing a memorized spell. Heighten Spell is required, but you will also want Empowered (+2), Dazing(+3) and Quicken(+4) at least. Toppling(+1), Maximize(+3) if you feel like it. Maybe.
So, your 1st level spell slots can be sacrificed to spontaneously cast Magic Missile with +2 spell level in metamagics, ie Empowered. 2nd level slots can be +3 in metamagics, so Dazing/Maximized makes an appearance. 3rd can be Quickened. 4th you start mixing so Empowered Dazing, etc.
So, starting Human gets you almost everything online by level 5.
Human bonus feat: Heighten Spell
1st feat: Empower Spell
3rd feat: Dazing/Maximize Spell
5th feat: Preferred Spell
Wizard Bonus 5th: Quicken Spell

Then you just need to up your CL until you get 5 missiles each. Tack on other metamagic as you see fit, or increase your CL/Spell Pen/etc. Spontaneously throw out an Empowered Magic Missile and a Quickened one only using a 1st and a 3rd slot.

Damage would be 1d4+1 per missile +1/2 level (once per cast, not per missile) base. Which doesn't sound too amazing... but empowered at CL 10 we're talking about (5d4+5)*1.5 = 22.5 average + 5(intense) = 27.5 and again quickened so about 55 damage per round.

For Pure damage mix in a level of Sorcerer for +1/die or so (orc bloodline, maybe another one stacks too), and maybe Medium(Archmage) for +2 per target if you find you are spreading out the damage to multiple enemies.

*The way he was getting the 11th missile was using the spell Continegent Action with the slightly loose ruling that a Spell-like ability isn't exactly a spell or a supernatural ability. Mostly he used it to check if the monster he was about to throw some higher level slots at had Shield active. You might be able to make an argument of using Ring of Forcefangs, Quarterstaff of Entwined Serpents, Cloak of the Hedge Wizard, etc as your contingent action, as they are more activating an item as opposed to directly casting. But that is likely GM territory again.

Alternatively, use different spells to somewhat mimic the effects you are looking for. Battering Blast for the 'big guns', Burst of Force for the area, etc.
