Extinction Curse Ancestries

Advice

Hi everybody,

We are about to end out AoA second chapter, and after that we will switch to the EC second chapter which I master.

Given the fact so many stuff got release, I am going to give everybody the possibility to adjust its character.

This could go from a simple free retraining to a brand new character.

I am fine with all Classes and Dedication/archetypes, but I am not sure about the ancestries.

So, I am asking to those who either already played the adventure or are some sort of guru for what concerns Golarion if all ancestries/heritages could be ok for the campaign.

On the one hand, a circus might have anything strange and exotic.
On the other hand, I am concerned about social interactions for all the uncommon/rare ancestries and uncommon heritages.

Feel free to provide any help you want!

Thanks

As you say it's a circus do strange people are fine. Plus it is on Kortos sho as the centre of the world you might expect to see odd people around.

Yeah, you're circus folk. Any Ancestry or Heritage, no matter how odd, is probably fine.

Shoony, the one specifically in Extinction Curse, are perhaps an exception since meeting them and finding out about their culture is supposed to be a new thing to the PCs, but everything else is fair game.

Thanks you both.

In general I wouldn't worry about it either. Moreso especially given that at least so far, PF2 seems to have a lot less in the way of overly powered stuff available to the PCs. So even that uncommon or rare ancestry isn't likely to break anything.

I suppose if they want to start pulling from enough rare or uncommon options (including feats, items, spells, etc.) you might need to step in or at least get an explanation, but shouldn't be a problem.
