Knight Disciple in need of Advice

Advice and Rules Questions

So My Crimson Countess feels to Evil says The GM.

But I Still want to do path of war

My new Idea is knight Disciple who wields A A long Spear and uses a buckler

I want him to be a good combatant and a decent Healer.

I am hopping do use iron Tortoise pricing Thunder and Silver Crane

What feats should I consider

I want a style fest if all possible

The pikeman's training feat from PoW lets you use a polearm and a light or heavy shield. This matters because iron tortoise requires you to be using a shield in a hand, which doesn't work with a buckler. Silver crane style probably works for you, and with your 3rd feat get power attack or combat reflexes.

Note, any martial polearm with reach has better stats than a long spear. You can use a long spear, but you're giving up a bonus to do so.

My condolences to your GM. Having a stick inserted that far up must be quite painful.

Should you go with this idea -

At 6th level you'll have 3 1st, 3 2nd level maneuvers and 2 1st level stances, which might be

Spoiler:
Blessed pinions (SC 2) - ~ +7 damage and ghost touch
Hastened leap (PT 2) - move 20' or jump as a swift action
Enraging strike (IT 2) - +10 damage and enemy must make will save or be forced to attack you next round
Oaken shield (PT 1) - +4 AC vs 1 attack as an immediate action
Piercing strike (PT 1) - hit 1 or 2 enemies, gain 5' reach while doing so
Throwing shell (IT 1) - throw your shield and have it return to you, +1d6 damage

Iron pikeman's attitude (PT 1) - armor training as per fighter
Silver crane waltz (SC 1) - defensive bonuses

Obviously this is less than a full PoW character but you still have some paladin abilities to back them up.
