Anybody catching this? Spoilers ahead!
My favorite part of the first 3 episodes was the Billy Butcher Stillwell bomb reenactment. "shut up ya dumbbat; or I'll b*+~@%%s ya" Nothing he would ever say and sanitized for TV. Sometimes the smallest jokes of this show give me the biggest laughs. Like Black Noir, and Sea-land :)
It was fun to see The Deep in action, though im kind of tiring of his depression story. Maybe its just gotten too much with Huey also in the dumps. Though, im hoping recent developments mean thats over.
I never read the comics, but i've heard alot about Stormfront. In the comics, I guess Stormfront is an anti-captain America. Basically an S.S. soldier that was one of the first to get compund V used on them. In fact, I also read that Homelander is cloned from Stormfront's DNA in the comic. Apparently Stormfront returns and gives Homelander all kids of run for his money, so thats a major departure from the series Stormfront. The series Stormfront feels like a gen-x feminist though certainly enjoys killing it seems. Be interesting to see where this goes.
What do y'all think so far?

Also if you're looking for more The Boys content waiting for each week's episode, there's an aftershow with cast and crew interviews: Prime Rewind: Inside the Boys (which has some fun moments, and has just as little filter for content and language as the show itself, even if the aftershow itself is the worst titled aftershow in history.)

Yesterday it was announced that based on strong S2 performance, there's a Boys spinoff in the works, set in a college for Supes. While the spinoff sounds like it will have plenty of Supes behaving badly, no mention of what group might be trying to keep them in check the way the titular Boys do in the main show. I think without something like that it could crash and burn, but Amazon's done such a fantastic job with The Boys, I'm willing to give them the benefit of the doubt.

At first, I thought they were just going to go with a handful of simple, happy endings. Then......SPLAT! And we finally found out who’d been exploding people’s mellons. I’ll be honest - did not see that coming.
I thought it was going to be that bald chick from the sage center with all the supes, where they introduced Lamplighter. She seemed to have a similar 'kill people by looking at them' power, even if it wasn't explicitly head-splody.

Figured it wasn't her though since the first head exploding happened in episode 1 while she was locked up.

lol, I was just talking about Scanners with some work mates on Friday.
That last episode wrapped up too neatly, not very amazingly, nor particularly funny. Gotta say the second season was a bit of disappointment overall.
Different strokes for different folks, but I couldn't stop laughing about Butcher's fatherly advice for Ryan.

Totally expected and at this point the crassness of Butcher has become old hat. They had a golden opportunity for Butcher to actually foster this kid. Instead they sent Ryan to the farm so they could conveniently reset the series.

They are doing a good job creating easy to despise villains. Each of them have a public mask that is the exact opposite of their true selves. My only question mark so far is The Deep. Not sure if he's just plain dumb or extremely complex. He has progressed(?) from his original debut as a Season 1 cheap villain Starlight harasser speedbump to some kind of a mystery...

Frankly I'm not sure where they can go from here in Season 3. I suspect the super kid will remain at the center of things, and that Butcher and Hughie will continue their bromance. Oh, and Gustavo Fring will keep pulling strings as he always does... that, or produce some kind of darksaber to even things out! :P
