Some quality of life that I would like.

The class looks interesting, I was kinda afraid of the balance of a Gish class and this one looks fine, but could have some increased quality of life.

- Striking Spell could use the Eldritch Shot effect that if you hit the strike you automatically hit the spell attack, maybe giving a -2 penalty to saves for spells that use them.

- An offensive Focus Spell in the place of Magus Potency, you will upgrade your weapon anyway and the focus spell will give the class more all day juice. Some thing like 1 action 1d6 per spell lvl.

I also think bringing back Pool Strike to 2E would works wonder. Allowing the Magus to have an offensive spell available at all time would relieve a lot of pressure.
I understand that it's part of the appeal, making your spell slots very precious, but it may be a bit...exageratted. Will have to play and test it

Pool Strike might actually get a lot more use this edition.

Also agree Spellstrike should auto hit the spell. Specially if they keep it as needed to make an action to strike.

Spellstrike should be renamed "Spell Infusion/Imbue Spell" since the strike isn't part of the action, and the action is just putting the spell in the weapon.

If they will keep it as is yes. Imbue Spell would make more sense as a name. Just like the Arcane Archer.

I was really expecting to see Pool Strike in some form, or a Focus Cantrip.
