Dedications and "spellcasting class feature"

Rules Discussion

Do spellcasting dedications give a character a "spellcasting class feature"? They say "You cast spells like a" sorcerer, wizard, oracle, etc. But they do not say you have the Class Feature of those classes.

The Ring of Wizardry states "It does nothing unless you have a spellcasting class feature with the arcane tradition." Would this work with an Arcane Sorcerer Dedication?

I strongly believe the intent is that you can.

Note from the line on the ring:

"If you can cast arcane spells in a variety of different ways (such as if you are a draconic bloodline sorcerer with the wizard multiclass archetype), you can divide the spell slots as you wish among your various sources of arcane spells."

I basically agree about the intent, but I think it is not 100% clear. The character in that example does specifically have a spellcasting class feature from being a sorcerer. It might portentously be different if the character was a fighter with a wizard multiclass archetype.

It could mean any spellcasting dedication will work, but it could also mean you must have spell slots. In the case of a martial base class, that would mean you'd have to take a dedication along with its Basic Spellcasting feat.

The way it's worded makes me think the latter.
