Martial with Sorcerer Dedication and Wands - Help me understand

Hi all,

I normally don't play casters so am having a hard time understanding what kinds of spells I can cast from a wand if I'm a fighter with a sorcerer dedication.

Here's the set up:

Level 8 Fighter with Sorcerer MCD (bloodline gives access to Arcane spell list) and has taken the Basic Sorcerer Spellcasting feat. I've selected True Strike (lvl 1), Blur (lvl 2) and Haste (lvl 3) as the three spells in my repertoire.

Let's assume that I find a wand of Resist Energy (lvl 2 arcane spell). I believe I can cast this spell from the wand because a) it's on the arcane spell list and b) it's lower than the highest level arcane spell I can cast. Although please let me know if I've gotten this wrong.

Now let's assume I find a wand of Fly (lvl 4 arcane spell). Using the wand can I cast Fly? It's on the arcane spell list but higher than the highest level arcane spell I can cast. If I can use the wand to cast Fly, is there anything extra I need to do?

RAW I don't see any requirement that the spell in the wand be of a level you can normally cast, so it should work. Same for a scroll. Only Staves list that restriction as far as I know.

I have mixed feelings about it personally. For me it doesn't make sense that a fighter with a single level 2 feat can pack a bunch of scrolls and wands and cast spells at the same level as if they were a primary caster. I recognize it is an investment in resources, but I don't think that outweighs the OP factor.

Thanks mrspaghetti. When I couldn't find caster-level requirements (beyond being able to cast a spell of the appropriate tradition) I assumed I was missing something.
