Was not sure if this should go in advice or conversions, but I humbly submit for your advise and CONSTRUCTIVE criticism.

The spell Sculpt Features, inspired by the spell of the same name from Dungeon Magazine #48 the Adventure "Melody" found in an Insert on page 45.

The original spell is as follows.

Sculpt Features (Alteration)
3rd Level Wizard Spell
range: Touch
Components V,S,M
Duration: Permanent
Casting Time: 5 Rounds
Area of Effect: Creature Touched
Saving Through: None

This cosmetic polymorph spell allows the caster to physically alter the appearance of any one creature touched, including himself. He may not cause the subject to grow new appendages, gain new organs, lose old ones, or otherwise alter the basic body structure. He is also unable to affect the subject's basic mass. He is free, however to rearrange it to a considerable extent. By doing so, he can make the subject up to 10% taller or shorter than the original height, or create the illusion that the subject has gained or lost up to one third of its original weight.
Beyond these limitations, the caster can alter the subjects appearance as he chooses. he could make a man look like an elf, change a wolf into a great dane, turn a freckle faced little girl into a haggard old woman, or cover a cow's hide with purple spots.
If the caster wishes to duplicate the exact features of a particular creature, he must possess either skill with Disguises or artistic ability as a Sculptor. If nonweapon proficiency's are being used in the game, the caster must make an intelligence check instead. if the check fails, the caster creates an imperfect copy.
An unwilling subject receve's a saveing throw to resist the spell's effects.
Because the effects of a sculpt features spell are cosmetic only, no system shock roll is required to survive the change and no magic is required to maintain the change once made. The subjects new features become it's natural features.
No one yet knows if the offspring of sutch a creature would inherit the parents original or altered features.
The material components for this spell are a few drops of Doppelganger blood and a powdered Moonstone worth no less than 50 Gp.

The conversion proposed.

Sculpt Features
School Transmutation (polymorph); Level Wizard 5

CASTING
Casting Time: 1 Turn
Components: V,S,M (a few drops of Doppelganger blood and 50Gp of powdered Moonstone)

EFFECT
Range: Touch
Target: Living creature touched
Duration: Instantaneous
Saving Through: Will negates (harmless); Spell Resistance yes (harmless)

DESCRIPTION
This cosmetic polymorph spell allows the caster to physically alter the appearance of any one creature touched, including herself.

She may cause the subject to grow new appendages, lose old ones, or otherwise alter the basic body structure. She is also able to affect the subject's basic mass. She is free to rearrange it to a considerable extent. By doing so, She can make the subject up to 10% taller or shorter than the original height, or cause the subject to gain or loose up to one third of its original weight.

The caster can alter the subjects appearance as She chooses. She could make a human look like an elf, change a wolf into a great dane, turn a freckle faced little girl into a haggard old woman, or cover a cow's hide with purple spots.

If the caster wishes to duplicate the exact features of a particular creature, She must possess either skill with Disguises or artistic ability as a Sculptor. If the check fails, the caster creates an imperfect copy. [need skill DC's]

An unwilling subject receve's a saveing throw to resist the spell's effects.

No system shock roll is required to survive the change and no magic is required to maintain the change once made. The subjects new features become it's inharent natural features.

The offspring of an altered creature will inherit the parents altered features.

This spell allows for the repair of congenital deffects, removal of masses of scar tissue, growth and removal of hair, change hair/eye/skin color, and basicly anything covered by cosmetic surgery today. as well as the removal of vestigal appendages and the growth of fully functional ones (eye's, wings, tail's etc...).

The limitations of this spell lie in the nature of the effected creature. You can make a tieflings vestigal wings fully functional or remove them completely, you cannot however grow wings or a tail on a human (check bloodline traits).

Your recommendations please!

Since you've changed it to be instantaneous rather than permanent, how would you remove the spell? Break enchantment? Or is the little girl doomed to be a haggard old woman in appearance for the rest of her life? Probably either you need to change it back to being permanent, or you need to note what spell(s) could end the effect.

1 turn is not a length of time in PF. You might want to indicate whether you mean 1 minute or 10 minutes for the casting time.

There's no need to mention system shock in a PF spell because that isn't a mechanic in PF.

There's a few typos and similar, I can go over those if you want.

Yes the little girl is doomed the intent is a permanent change.

A casting time of ten minutes and the removal of system shock are good calls and just what i am looking for.

The typos i can fix later as i am not using word at the moment.

It's hard to find a doppelganger I will try to change that component whit a mirror as a focus

The hard to find materials and long casting time are partly to balance for a permanent change.

I mean you are permanently fixing Tiny Tim's club leg.

Disguises and Sculpting DC's for various effects are what i am hope full for help with.

I guess a equally rare material might be OK, like a piece of mimic or sum powered succubus horn.

Even if it takes a wish/miracle there should be some means to change back. Decide on it, note it in the spell.

Polymorph spells generally give +10 to disguise for a start. Assuming this spell is the same: there's DCs listed with the disguise skill to disguise yourself as someone. If you're making a specific change which isn't that then maybe DC 20 for a simple change (adding purple spots), DC 25 for a complex change (girl to hag), DC 30 for something exotic and functional (working wings on a tiefling).

Another casting of the spell, or a wish/miracle can alter them back to their original configuration.

Current iteration:

Sculpt Features
School Transmutation (polymorph); Level Wizard 5

CASTING
Casting Time: 1d3 X 10 minutes
Components: V,S,M (a few drops of Doppelganger blood and 50 Gp of powdered Moonstone)

EFFECT
Range: Touch
Target: Living creature touched
Duration: Instantaneous
Saving Through: Will negates (harmless); Spell Resistance yes (harmless)

You must succeed on a Disguise or Sculpting check with a +10 bonus to duplicate the appearance of a specific individual when you cast the spell to determine how good the likeness is. A creature familiar with the original might detect the ruse with a successful Perception check (opposed by the caster’s Disguise check) or a DC 20 Sense Motive check.

An unwilling subject receve's a saveing throw to resist the spell's effects.
