My players recently managed to acquire newly born Manticore babies, and I am unsure of a few things.
1.) Stats: How do their stats progress as they reach the adult stats in the beastiary?
2.) Raising: What are the physical needs of a juvenile Manticore?
I know there are not any answers officially, however, I would appreciate hearing some opinions on the matter from more experienced/creative GM/Players.

Probably, the most straightforward approach is to apply the young template multiple times. Until it becomes small or tiny (based on how small you want it to start out). Additionally, remove 1 to 2 HD per step noting the resulting steps as you go. Now you know what each step looks like from baby to adult.
Next, decide if you want it to grow via age or party level. I would recommend party level so that it remains as relavent as you'd like. Then each time it grows you know what its new stats look like.
As for needs, it depends on how complicated you want to make it. To keep it simple you could just make them similar to lion cubs, 1-2 months of milk only before meat is introduced, before being weened off of milk after 6 months. If you want something more complicated then take that and add in requirements based on the other animals it has parts from.

Alternatively, if you wanted an even more in-depth approach, Talented Monster Creation could be very useful for making a young manticore and aging it up slowly as it gains levels/hit dice.
