Hi everybody!
https://2e.aonprd.com/Feats.aspx?ID=1180
You point out a detail that incontrovertibly supports your faith, causing a listener’s mind to whirl. Attempt a Diplomacy check and compare the result to the Will DC of a single target that can hear you and understands your language; that target is then temporarily immune to Evangelize with respect to your deity or philosophy for 1 day. A creature that already agrees with you is unaffected, and at the GM’s discretion, a target that genuinely changes its perspective to support your faith as a result of the argument is also otherwise unaffected.
This sounds extremely fun.
I am looking for suggestions in terms of roleplay ( In the current adventure I play a Paladin of Shelyn ) and what to shout to enemies, but of course, feel also free to share what would be a glorious speech
ps: In case you would like to give advices for my character, here some extra information regards Paladins of Shelyn
Paladins of Shelyn are rare, but there have been some, such as Saint Marcus Odeber son of Arn Odeber, first of the Odeber line Paladins of Shelyn are peaceable promoters of art and beauty. They see the ugliness in evil, even when cloaked in the form of beauty, and their job is to prevent the weak and foolish from being seduced by false promises. Their tenets include:
- I am peaceful. I come first with a rose. I act to prevent conflict before it blossoms.
- I never strike first, unless it is the only way to protect the innocent.
- I accept surrender if my opponent can be redeemed and I never assume that they cannot be. All things that live love beauty, and I will show beauty's answer to them.
- I will never destroy a work of art, nor allow one to come to harm unless greater art arises from its loss. I will only sacrifice art if doing so allows me to save a life, for untold beauty can arise from an awakened soul.
- I see beauty in others. As a rough stone hides a diamond, a drab face may hide the heart of a saint.
- I lead by example, not with my blade. Where my blade passes, a life is cut short, and the world's potential for beauty is lessened.
- I live my life as art. I will choose an art and perfect it. When I have mastered it, I will choose another. The works I leave behind make life richer for those who follow.
Thanks!

The two main ways I see to evangelize as paladin of Shelyn would be:
-make people aware of the 'ugly' things they do and how they possibly could do better
-compliment them and tell them how to better use their abilities
Some examples from the top of my head (I don'T know how good they are tbh)
'Dont't waste your life destroying things, create beauty instead!'
'You have a nice voice, considered to become a singer instead of...whatever you are..'
'For someone who likes art you sure act ugly'
'Your beauty is as shallow as that puddle over there, you really want that?'
'The world needs more beauty and less [whatever the npc is] '
'You know, talents like you are always welcome at the shelyn temple'

Basically, be the embodiment of "I'm not mad, just disappointed."

thanks everybody for the suggestions!
"What would your mother think!?" lol
ahahah
I thought something like
"Surrender and face redemption, then embrace the second chance you'll be given!"
"You won't ever reach perfection by committing evil acts!"
"We are all brothers and sisters, meant to live altogether surrounded by love and beauty"
"I used to be an Evil-doer like you, but then I took redemption in the knee"

My Paladin of Shelyn views things a bit more militaristic (since he's a Paladin, not a Redeemer or Liberator), but certainly has that flair of vanity.
To him, the battlefield is his canvas, his enemy's blood the paint with which to work with, and his weapon the tool to carry out his artwork. He calls his deity's weapon (glaive) the "Paintbrush of War."
"Do us all a favor and berid yourself from my canvas. I dare not tarnish such a beautiful piece with your blemishes if I can help it."
