Clerver improviser and trick magic item

Rules Discussion

Hi everybody,

The situation is the following:

- Character with at least trained in 1 knowledge skill.
- Character pick up "trick magic item" skill feat
- Character pick up Clever improviser

Can now the character benefit from using trick magic item on all knowledges?

I'd say no, but the only thing which mention "trained" is in the "prerequisites" part, meant to unlock the feat.

What do you think?

I think so.

You had to be trained in one of the knowledges to get the skill, but doesn't restrict your usage to only that trained skill.

Further, Clever Improviser lets you act as though you were trained even when you're not.

I think this combo is valid.
