Gnome Pranks

Advice

My gnome just got his hands on 20 pieces of chalk, 20 candles, and a bag of caltrops. I'm thinking, "what amazing pranks can I pull off with these?"

Do you have any ideas for amazing gnome pranks (whether or not it involves the above items)? I'm primarily looking for brainstorm ideas for things that will be fun, and not disruptive or likely to rile fellow players up in a bad way.

How about take some of your chalk and make a fine powder. Apply it to yourself and pretend you have the onset of the Bleaching. Ham it up ...some. Act morose, depressed and disinterested but also stoic in your determination to press forward to achieve your party's goals and in order to save yourself. Impress upon them that you need THEM to do pranks, surprises, and the like, while you adventure to lift your spirits and save you. Profit from having your party act like morons for a bit.

Obviously fill in the GM and perhaps they can add in a Trivial or Moderate encounter designed to last the length of your 'spell' before the powder wears off and the jig is up (or, you're cured! and they never know haha). This way the game can move forward without too much disturbance. You basically end up with one goofball encounter that seems like it could be unpredictable and fun for everyone

I had the chalk powder in mind too, but used in a different way.
Ask a party member to borrow from them an empty flask, or anything else you can put the powder inside.
Fill it with the powder; if there is a plug, 'forget' to put it back. Put the flask, or whatever you used, back into their backpack saying 'Thanks a lot!' graciously. Close the backpack. Then shake it, hard, while they will look at you with no clue about why the hell you are doing that. Enjoy their face when they open the backpack.

I did this in real life. I couldn't stop laughing, even as my friend was (rightfully) beating me up.

One idea that occurred to me today was to use the chalk to color the party's hair while they sleep. The color of the chalk is currently undefined, but if it's more than one color, then I could have a lot of fun making the party seem much more gnome-like.

I could use the wax to adhere the caltrops to all sorts of interesting surfaces.

Use the candle wax to slick the bottoms of somone's boots or the grip of a weapon.

Cover caltrops in soft wax and roll them into balls then toss them onto a hard serface with marbles that are the same size. You could even use colored chalk to make them different colors.

fill your coin perse with caltrops (keep your money elsewhere). Use slight of hand to make it look like you take your money out of your pouch when in town buying stuff. If most common thieves try to pick your pocket they will get the point.

Use powered chalk and candles for "fake" magic rituals.
